Copper / Thornhill Mountain
From the Visitor Centre, head east on Highway 16 to Old Lakelse Lake Road (just past the Macs Gas station). Follow the road out towards Jackpine Flats for 6km, 800m past the Thornhill Landfill is a parking lot which leads to a road up the mountain (Copper Mountain Road). You can either drive up the road (in a vehicle with good ground clearance) or bike to the trails. There are numerous trails running on the mountain.
The Terrace Mountain trails are located approx. 3.5 km from the Visitor Information Centre on Highway 16 in Terrace. The main trailhead is located at the junction of Johnstone Street and Walsh Avenue.
Flathead Loop (intermediate to advanced climb and descent)
The trailhead is located at the junction of Johnstone Street and Walsh Avenue. A 7.5km ride comprised of technical singletrack and a challenging descent. Click on the trail title above for more information on Trailforks.
